Hi,

My name is Chris Tusa, and I'm a writer from New Orleans. My debut novel, Dirty Little Angels, is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com, and I am writing because I was hoping you might be willing to read it and post your thoughts on Amazon.com (or some of the other book review sites). If you're interested, I'd be more than willing to send you an e-book version by e-mail. Just let me know. I've included a summary of the novel below:

Dirty Little Angels
Set in the slums of New Orleans, among clusters of crack houses and abandoned buildings, Dirty Little Angels is the story of sixteen year old Hailey Trosclair. When the Trosclair family suffers a string of financial hardships and a miscarriage, Hailey finds herself looking to God to save her family. When her prayers go unanswered, Hailey puts her faith in Moses Watkins, a failed preacher and ex-con. Fascinated by Moses's lopsided view of religion, Hailey, and her brother Cyrus, begin spending time down at an abandoned bank that Moses plans to convert into a drive-through church. Gradually, though, Moses's twisted religious beliefs become increasingly more violent, and Hailey and Cyrus soon find themselves trapped in a world of danger and fear from which there may be no escape.

If you'd like to read the first chapter before you commit, feel free to visit my web site:

Thanks so much,
Chris

My name is William and I am inviting Julie Elliott and all members of Overbookers to visit my personal webpage on Overbookers Social Network. On my webpage you will find information on the Harris Mystery as well as links to other websites that are either a part of the Harris Mystery, or participants in the Harris Mystery Club on myspace. If it has been a while since you sunk your teeth into a delicious mystery that made your mind race, then welcome to the Harris Mystery. The difference between the Harris Mystery and other mysteries that you read about every day is that the Harris Mystery is REAL. Enjoy.

Thanks for joining the conversation. I'm looking forward to
hanging out here with you. Let me know what you think about the Dick Francis book.

See you at midwinter.

Profile Information

I am...
Reader, Librarian, Reviewer
Favorite Books:
There are too many to name, but my absolute all time favorite book is The Hippopotamus by Stephen Fry
Favorite Genres
Humor, nonfiction of all kinds, but especially good sports writing, mystery
In my spare time, if I'm not reading, I'm:
Jogging, listening to cheesy 70s and 80s music (so happy that xmradio has revived the old Casey Kasem Top 40s from those years) but usually I'm reading...
About Me:
I basically live to read. Whenever depressed, the thought of a well stocked public library cheers me. I have a very nice husband who also loves to read, parents who love to read, and a brother and sister-in-law, that, you guessed it, also love to read. We're working on turning my niece into a reader too.
