Gentlemen of the Road by Michael Chabon
I'm in the middle of this, and am reveling in the language. I may have to listen to an audio version of this. I'm going to inflict this on my niece and nephew. Chabon is a master of the genre slide.

Hi Ann-
I thought that this one was a fun read. The 2 world weary warriors thing never gets old, and Chabon did a better job than Fritz Leiber did with his Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser series (Ill met in Lankhmar). I just thought it was a positive thing for Chabon to try to renew a tradition and blur the line between genres at the same time.
